Sandee’s Egg Food

Processing a thoroughly hard cooked egg with shell

and a mix of one part wheat germ, one part

Zwieback Crackers and three tablespoons of poppy

seed makes egg food. One whole egg mixed with

six tablespoons of dry

mix makes approximately 2/3rds cup of egg food.

Be sure to feed egg food fresh every day. Throw

away whatever is not used. Spirulina and wheat

grass powders are added to egg food several times

a week.

2 parts Roudybush hand – feeding formula

3 parts Exact hand-feeding formula

1 part Gerber baby food

water to desired consistency. Mix ingredients.

2 hard boiled eggs,

½ cup crushed Cheerios

1 slice whole wheat toast

Boil eggs until hard (20 Min).
Mash very well with a fork. Crumble toast to make crumbs. Add crushed cereal and toast crumbs to egg.
Mix thoroughly with eggs.

2c Garden Flora

2T Bee Pollen

I give this to linnies and 'lets at all times in a

separate dish. They also have

Petamine available at all times and the tiels get the

Petamine too.

Nestling / Rearing Food

1 cup dry Kaytee hand rearing food

4 cups Gerber mixed baby cereal

Powdered bird vitamins/per directions.

Store in an air-tight container. When ready to use:
